At Chomper Surfcraft, authenticity, craftsmanship, and transparency have always been at the heart of what I do.

For years, I've hand-shaped each surfboard with a commitment to the traditional techniques,

ensuring each board is a true reflection of my 'hand-made' mantra and my passion behind the craft.

However, to meet the growing demand while upholding my standards, I’ve taken the thoughtful step of introducing CNC-machined surfboard models.

Having professionally scanned my favourite hand-shaped designs with an Einscanner, I am now able to replicate these boards with precision, offering high-quality tried-and-tested designs that stay true to my original handwork.

 

These CNC boards will primarily be available as stock offerings, meeting the need for 'off the rack' customers looking to add a board to their quiver instantly.

However, for custom orders, CNC shaping can also be arranged if discussed directly with me when ordering, adding a tailored option for those who might prefer it.

While machine shapes will be available for select models, I will continue to predominantly hand-shape my boards for those who appreciate the fully handcrafted experience.

Transparency will always be my top priority, with each board clearly marked:

HS = Hand Shaped      OR      MS = Machine Shaped

All machined shapes are still finished by my hands (no 'Ghost-Shapers') and fine tuned with the same enthusiasm as my hand-shapes.

This balance ensures that all of my boards—whether machine-assisted or hand-shaped are made with the same level of care and dedication that my customers have come to expect.
